"Towards Integrated Early Childhood Systems – Building the Foundations is a toolkit that has been developed based on the expertise of the partners in the INTESYS consortium, the literature review and the European survey carried out at the beginning of the INTESYS project and was tested within the four pilots conducted in Belgium, Italy, Portugal and Slovenia.

The toolkit is meant to lay the foundations for strengthening integration in early childhood systems, to be an inspiring and versatile resource to be easily adapted to various contexts across and within countries.

It proposes a Reference Framework for Integration in Early Childhood Systems, a cyclic process of change towards integration enabled through the use of various tools and includes various insights and lessons learned from the pilots."
